Membership
In applying to join the ACRI please keep in mind that your application details will be viewed by all existing ACRI members for their comment and consideration as part of the approval process.
Membership is considered on:
· Geographic location. · Specific type of business activity · Operational aspects of the business and / or organization that applies.
NB: Accredited membership involves RPL (Recognition for prior learning) process and or training and assessment using registered training course # 21742VIC.
Please read the description below and nominate which level of membership you require.
Foundation Members are those who have an established specialist history within a child transit safety environment and who are respected within the industry for their dedication and commitment to automotive child passenger safety. On discussion with other ACRI foundation members they may be invited to this honorary position.
Accredited Members are those who have undergone training with the ACRI Child restraint systems for professionals course guide and met performance criteria in relation to choosing, using and fitment issues (NB: Excluding after market anchorage and seat belt provision). They are invited to this position by foundation members, their application is subject to approval by all members and a nominal membership fee is payable annually.
Associate Members may be invited to join ACRI by all other members and are usually individuals or organizations that have an interest in child safety and or road safety issues and are involved with ACRI for access to up to date information and or services. Their application is subject to approval by the member group and a nominal membership fee is payable annually.
All ACRI members are bound to operate and communicate with other members and clients in accordance with the ACRI Code of Practice (Schedule 3).
