The ACRI can provide training courses for people who need to increase their skill and or qualifications in relation to automotive Child travel safety, specifically Child Restraint Systems. Participants may work in professional areas, such as child care or integration (Fitment and instruction) services or in a strictly advisory capacity only.
Dealing with end users of these products is dependent on the clear understanding of a wide variety of specifics. We understand that communication is a two way street, quite often it isn’t what’s said, it’s what’s heard. The correct way to use a child restraint is not something that can be imparted quickly and we can never take the communication part of the integration process lightly. It is imperative that the utmost care is taken when communicating with the users of child restraint systems. Total understanding does not come easily and errors are common. This is the underlying aim of any training and resource activity that the ACRI undertakes.
